GSID obtains its funding primarily through program-specific grants, but individual donations, which provide us with more flexibility, will help us support new product development initiatives and our general operations. Individual cash donations can be made to GSID online or by mail. GSID is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization; therefore donations are tax deductible in the United States. GSID is also able to accept contributions of stock issued by publicly traded companies. Stock donations may provide significant tax advantages. Please seek the guidance of your tax advisor before considering a stock donation.
